The final instalment in the Spencer Cohen series and it has
been one of the top m/m romance series to read. I have loved every second I
spent devouring the relationship of Spencer Cohen and Andrew Landon. Two
perfect opposites and two perfect soulmates. In fact this story is front cover of
Hallelujah for Perfect Five Star Hot Reads!. Serious.
With the relationship firmly established in book two you
would think everything is hunky dory so what more is there to tell? Well this
is Spencer and Andrew after all and both still have those insecurities about
how the other really feels about the other. Can this last? Is this forever or
will this be a short lived affair? They had me ‘awwwing’ one minute then
rolling my eyes (adoringly) the next.
I won’t go into detail about what happens but just to hint
there is plenty of lust, passion and love, a trip to Australia, new tattoos,
bossy topping, romantic dancing and manic rides in Cindy Crawford!
What an amazing story and an even more amazing cast. I was
as giddy as a bunny at Easter to get my grabby hands on these books and I will
disagree with other reviewers in that I am happy with how it was presented in
three instalments. It just made the read of Spencer and Andrew’s love story
more engaging as I had those yearning interludes in between books to build up
more tension and anticipation of what would happen next. Yes I will go back and
read then all in one go but for now I am left happy and elated but having a
serious case of book hangover. But then NR Walker does that with whatever she
writes. Clever author.
This book was all about the resolution, redemption and
finally, FINALLY being able to say out loud to each other how they really felt,
what they wanted and …the epilogue said it all. FLOVED!
One of the best ever series and an absolutely Five million
stars.
